MODERN FRENCH COLONIAL

Classic, with an air of understated luxury, we present our take on the Modern French Colonial home.

Stemming from a keen interest in English Kitchens and English homes, this crisp and uplifting interior bridges the gap between compact spaces and elegant luxury.

From beautifully satin-finished walls to handpainted, classic-beaded carpentry, this 3-bedroom condominium exemplifies the humble sophistication and meticulous nature of our homeowners.

The ultimate personality and zest for the interior is depicted in the bathrooms, where we harmonised Chessboard floor tiles against crackled emerald wall tiles and hints of bronze inlays. Lit with integrated LEDs, our custom top and bottom vanity cabinets accentuate the cosiness and visual texture through the light and shadows cast.

In the kitchen, we articulated a minimalist-yet-rustic ambience with our new, warm-toned wood vinyl flooring, juxtaposed against white shaker cabinets and deep bronze handles. The crisp, all-white aesthetic in strong contrast to the floor allowed us enough visual tolerance to curate a statement, marble-veined counter top and backsplash; predominantly along a similar shade of white but with distinct, accented veins that reflect the tonality of the flooring and bespoke handles.

In the master bedroom, to maintain a unified aesthetic within the apartment, we decided to do a wardrobe adaptation of our living room’s floor-to-ceiling TV cabinet. This wardrobe forms the backdrop for our clients’ bed and was intended to feel as sublime as possible while allowing easy storage access. Beside it, we designed a carpentry lounge nook framing the window views. Along one end, a narrow compartment houses their concealed movie projector, simply at the ready for cosy family movie nights.
