CONTEMPORARY MINIMALIST

Organised, airy and tranquil.

Welcome to our Contemporary Minimalist home along the marina - where large panels of natural light and views of the horizon are at your disposal.

This was something that stood out to us when we first arrived at the apartment. Uninterrupted coastal views that could only be enjoyed, thoroughly, from the balcony outside of the living room. Coupled with the design brief of sculpting a home fully prioritising the playfully relaxed nature of 3 sun-loving dogs, the intention was clear - to absorb the lengthy balcony area into the enclosed living-dining space. This not only increased the internal floor area, but also allowed our homeowners (doggies included) to enjoy breathtaking scenery, morning into the night, from the safety and enclosed comfort of their living spaces.

We also wanted to open up the kitchen, reinventing the way they enter and navigate the space. Most of all, our goal was to enable our clients to face the spectacular horizon while working at the island counter, in full embrace of the natural light and hues of blue and white for that sensorial calm.

To enhance privacy, we designed a laminated carpentry feature wall, fitted with concealed pivot doors to the bedrooms, along the back wall of the dining area. A study room was fashioned behind one of these doors, with an LED-lit display bookshelf and built-in study desk-storage for the homeowners’ work-from-home schedules.

Outfitted with a walk-in-wardrobe that escorts you to the ensuite bath, is the master bedroom. Cosy, minimalist and monochromatic in shades of grey, this master bedroom’s objective was to keep a soothing colour palette with a comfortable circulation route all around.
