MODERN FARMHOUSE

Step into our Modern Farmhouse interior, where each element exudes timeless charm and rustic contemporary allure.

As the original layout of this resale apartment was pretty rectilinear and closed off to natural light, our goal was to open up the space and introduce curves to soften the flow and redefine movement within the home.

We re-orientated the tv wall, from one of the longer walls to a corner, and customised a floor-to-ceiling TV storage nook. Being open and fully embracing to change, our homeowners purchased a curved chaise sofa, which soon became the perfect statement in their new home. Its curved form and new orientation within the home was distinctive yet subtle-enough a demarcation of the living area; blurring the lines between the living, dining and transition spaces and in turn, encouraging cross-social interaction.

Alongside a palette of earth-toned wood tiles and subtly grained greige flooring, white wood panelling adorn the walls; echoing traditional craftsmanship while imparting a sense of refined elegance. Dark bronze inlays and ornamental carved handles were also incorporated along salmon pink tiles and white shaker panels, embodying hints of understated luxury and retro vintage within a modern setting.
